Strategic Dialogue and Engagement for Climate Adaptation is a new online course from designed for any professional on the front line of climate adaptation work, including planners, engineers, elected officials and community leaders.
You’ll learn to lead meaningful community engagement without alarming or overwhelming others, while considering an equity-based and decolonizing approach. You’ll leave the course with the skills to overcome barriers to change, mobilize knowledge and data, and work across silos effectively.
Meet your instructor
Olive Dempsey is an experienced facilitator, process designer, engagement strategist and coach who has spent more than 15 years in the non-profit and advocacy sectors. She’ll be joined in the course by a host of guests, many of whom are leading climate adaptation practitioners.
