Our Pledge:

• Replace paper towels in washrooms with blast air dryers
• Develop a formal ‘green team’ of employees
• Inform and educate the staff on those green measure already in place
• Re-program set-back thermostats for maximum eco efficiency
• Replace leaking windows

Past/Ongoing Actions:

• Replaced T12 fixtures with magnetic ballasts with T8 fixtures with electronic ballasts
• Replaced standard thermostats with set-back thermostats
• Developed a staff managed recycling program for all recyclables brought from home
• All office waste paper and newsprint is recycled
• Lighting system for all of facility is on a clock timer to minimize electrical use
• All computer monitors replaced with Energy Star based
• No plastic cutlery used in facility
• Adjust HVAC air diffusers seasonally–4 x per year
• Replace HVAC filters 4 x per year
• Test and maintain HVAC equipment 4 x per year
