Forbes Shares The World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2017
Recently, Forbes shared Toronto-based magazine and research firm Corporate Knights project, the Global 100, an annual list of the world’s most sustainable companies. The list is created by rating large firms on 14 key measures, evaluating their management of resources, finances and employees, all using publicly available data.
After looking at over 4,000 companies that meet specific market values, Corporate Knights creates their top 100 list. This year, Siemens, the German industrial conglomerate whose businesses range from power plants to medical imaging machines, came out on top.
A special shout out to our top ranking Canadian firm, Royal Bank of Canada, making their mark at spot 37.
